eat 4 health is a weight loss programme in Reading, West Berks and Wokingham for anyone wanting to lose weight or lead a healthier lifestyle . How does it work?
You attend one group session every week for 10 weeks with the session lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes. Information and support on weight issues will be provided to help you lose weight and eat healthy.
The class also includes a short session of light, fun physical activity. The activities are led by qualified, GP Exercise Referral Instructors who are specialists in physical activites for patients and those who are beginners or have aches, pains, injuries or medical conditions.
We do not set unrealistic target weights but focus on individuals making small changes which help with modest and achievable weight loss for health. We will provide the support and help you need to stay on track and maintain your weight loss.

‘eat 4 health’ is a weight loss and physical activity programme which runs once a week for 10 weeks. This exciting programme will support you to lose weight by improving your eating habits and changing your lifestyle.
The programme is based on the latest research which shows the best way to lose weight is by eating a healthy diet and taking regular exercise.
The programme is designed with 8 topic areas which cover valuable information needed to help you lose weight.

- Understanding the need for physical activity
- How external and internal triggers effect our eating
- Fats and Sugars
- Food Labelling
- Eating out, Take away and drinks
Weeks 1 and 10 allow us to take your individual weight and measurements so we can see that you have made improvments by the end of the course and finally we allow you to develop strategeries to maintaining weight loss.
