PCT Cluster Accountability Changes - 1 January to 31 March 2013
In line with the national implementation of the Health and Social Care Bill, and to support a smooth transition to the new arrangements for the NHS from 1 April, some changes have been made to accountability arrangements and changes to Executive Director portfolios and responsibilities from 1 January to 31 March 2013.
In line with national guidance, Matthew Tait, Local Area Team Director (Thames Valley) will pick up Accountable Officer responsibilities for all PCT Clusters with the geography of the Thames Valley Area Team. This will result in Matthew being formally installed as Accountable Officer for the Berkshire Cluster as well as the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Cluster for this period. All Executive Directors for both Clusters will report to Matthew Tait as Accountable Officer.
