At a recent Breathe Easy (BLF) support group meeting, one of our members produced the small Choose Well card highlighting possible procedures for various health problems. We thought this was very helpful but a little concerned that advice for coughs was either "Self-care" or "choose a pharmacist". Whilst we do understand not all health conditions can be covered, persistent coughs could be an indicator of a more serious underlying problem - as some of our members know. We are fully aware of course that common sense usually prevails with most people but we have found that at various events where BLF have a stand and some of our members assist, this is often not the case. It was just a thought which our group felt might be worth raising.
